Summary: We were pleasantly surprised by how roomy the chalet was, we were a group of 21 in total (3 of whom were 3 or under) so we only needed 18 actual beds (which is what this property has - we weren't sure about that from the description). The Chalet was generally well maintained, beds were comfy, there was adequate crockery etc, and it was a pleasant surprise to find a hot tub on the balcony as well as in the downstairs room. There was a Nespresso machine as well as a filter coffee machine, raclette and fondue set also to be used. We didn't use any of the upstairs TV's. but the games room was excellent for our teenagers. The location for skiing was ok (we ha very poor snow while we were there so the most local ski run was closed the whole week) - so we ended up driving round the one-way village and parking in town quite a lot when we had to take & pick up kids from ski school etc usually plenty of parking, but on market day not a chance. There are 2 free ski lifts (escalators) in resort and our kids love spending afternoons here. The Chalet itself just needed a little TLC, when we arrived we found 2 of the dining room chairs were broken so report that to Nicholas, who was very apologetic but it was no big deal to us, we made note of anything else we found and gave to Nicholas when we left - such as bulbs had gone, a socket was off the wall etc, he was very helpful. I would say that the downstairs SPA room really needs a drain in the floor - we had 4 adults in the hot tub and it overflowed and we spent ages mopping up all the water as there is no drain. It had clearly happened before as you could see the water marks on the walls of the WC. It was a lovely touch to find bath robes had been provided as well as towels - that was an unexpected delight. Overall a lovely, well set out chalet, with great facilities. We would definitely return....if only we could guarantee the snow!
